Arrived at Atocha and can't get in?
Arganzuela sits right next to Atocha, Spain's biggest station for long-distance trains. If you've just arrived and the key box is empty or the code doesn't work, first message your host. If you still can't get in, call us.
We'll ask for your booking and an ID before opening. That's what keeps the flat safe from anyone else.
Old flats and new builds
Arganzuela mixes older blocks in Acacias, Imperial and Delicias, many with wooden doors and old locks, with newer buildings around Legazpi and Madrid Río that have armoured doors (puerta blindada), garages and storage rooms.
In older doors we open without breaking the wood whenever possible. In new builds, the cylinder (bombín) the developer fitted is often basic; a security one starts from €200.
What it costs
Opening a door: €150–250 by day, call-out included. At night there's a surcharge, included in the price we give you on the phone before we set off. That's what you pay.
- New cylinder (bombín): from €150, cheaper if done right after an opening.
- Anti-bump cylinder: from €200.
- Lock change: from €220.
If we can't open it, you don't pay. Cash, card or Bizum. Invoice always. More on our prices page.

Tell me what happened, what kind of door it is and where you are. A photo of the lock helps. Before I leave I tell you:
- The price of the opening, fixed.
- When I'll arrive, checked on Google Maps right then.
I come myself
No call centre. The person you speak to is the person who turns up.
If the door isn't what you described, I tell you before I touch anything and you decide.
I open the door
Without breaking the lock whenever possible. If it has to be broken, I explain why and ask first.
You pay what we agreed and get an invoice.

1-year guarantee on my work
If something I fitted fails because of my work within a year, I come back and fix it free. Parts carry a 3-year guarantee.

No parts without your OK
Cylinder, lock or reinforcement: quote first, then your yes. Say no and you only pay the opening.
Invoice, always
For every job, even at 3 a.m. You'll need it for your insurance or your landlord.
